In addition to being physically stressfull, dealing with bed bugs can also take its toll on your psychological well being.

If you are dealing with a bed bug infestation you are all too aware that what you are going through is physically demanding (preparing your home for extermination, living out of bags etc.) but you should be aware that your ordeal may be effecting your mental state as well.

Are you getting up in the middle of the night, flashlight in hand, looking for the bugs? This is a common and normal thing that most people do. Just the thought that, at any moment, a bed bug may be making its way over to you to feed on you is enough to keep anyone up at night.

Breaking the normal sleep pattern one or two nights in a row is easily recoverable but going weeks without a proper rest can wreak havoc on even the most level-headed individual.
